    Vinny is a 3 year old boy with cerebral palsy who gets lots of pains in his legs and ankles. Vinny is due to have a operation on them both and will be in plaster for months, we have funding a specialist seating bean bag to hopefully ease some of the pain, we send our best wishes to Vinny for a speedy recovery xx

    Riley is a little boy with global development delays and autistic, because of Riley's lack of sleep during the night he has just completed the KIDS sleep workshop to help with his sleep patterns, Freddies Friends have just funded a weighted blanket to hopefully settle him down for a good nights sleep xx

    Finleigh suffers from chromosomal duplication, chomosomal loss xq27.2, development delays and behaviour problems relating to his genetic diognosis.

    Finleigh becomes very distressed and has meltdowns were he throws himself to the floor often causing injury, this large cushion we have funded calms finleigh down and reduces the risk of injury xx

  • Death Valley Cycle Challenge 2014

    Phil & Francis Brogden completed the 420km cycle challenge through Death Valley which is one of the hottest location in North America!!

    Between them they have raised an unbelievable £2102.88 with gift aid to be added, a massive well done guys xx

    Thankyou to John and Geoff at the Masonic lodge, for kindly donating £1000 to Freddies Friends. We were invited to their annual charity evening and had a wonderful night meeting lots of kind and generous people. The Freemason's do an amazing job in helping many different charities and hospitals, this year alone they have donated £40,000 to local charities. Thank you once again xx

    Jimmy Phelan and the boxers from Seconds Out Gym on Anlaby Road Hull, recently took part in the Humber Bridge Half Marathon, and also did a bucket collection at a boxing tournament - Jimmy has given us £1,000 for Freddie's Friends which is fantastic - Jimmy always helps us out at Freddie's Friends and we are so grateful to him for all his help - also thanks to Dean O'Loughlin and Anthony Beadle who took part in a beach rugby match and help at the boxing shows !!!

    We held a charity night at the Crown pub on Saturday 7th May. Lots of people turned up to a great night. Liam Elvin was sponsored to have his head shaved! Sammi Louise sang all night for free, we had cupcakes, guess the weight of the cake, raffle, tombola and an auction. Over £1000 was raised, which is being shared between Freddie's Friends, and Jack Christmas, a gorgeous little boy who needs a specialist trike. Thanks to all who attended and donated xxx

  • Harley Norfolk

    We donated £200 to Harley to help him go to EuroDisney to see Mickey and Minnie. Harley and his lovely family managed to make their dreams come true and go on holiday. Unfortunately Harley became poorly when they came home and tragically fell asleep surrounded by his devoted family on Monday 27th September 2010. Harley will now be free from pain and will have met up with Freddie by now, who will be looking after him. God Bless Harley xxx

    When Freddie spent many weeks and months in Hull Royal Infirmary, we met a fabulous nurse called Jackie Painter. We have developed a close relationship with Jackie, her husband Rich and their son Oliver.

    Oliver plays rugby for Hull Ionians and after their match on 21st April, the lads put their money into a bucket to go towards Freddies' Friends - £20.75 was collected - Thanks lads and good luck for the season x

  • Savannah West

    Savannah is 18 months old and has a brain disorder - she suffers with epilepsy, has global developmental delays and is visually impaired. She has no muscle tone in her legs and is unable to sit, crawl or walk. She is a beautiful happy little girl who has lots of problems but has loving parents, Kelly and Rich, and lots of friends who love her. We bought Savannah a special chair so that she can sit comfortably and safely.

  • Christmas Fayre

    We held Freddie's Friends Christmas Fayre on Sunday 6th december and raised a massive £942. We had a great day, Father Christmas turned up, we had a raffle, a tombola, bric a brac, card stall, cake stall and a cafe. It was attended by all our friends and families and was a great afternoon - we all worked hard to make it a success, and it certainly was. THANKS TO ALL WHO ATTENDED OR HELPED IN ANY WAY x x x

  • East Hull Under 10's sponsored walk

    A massive thank you goes to Mandy, Rich, players and parents of the East Hull Under 10's Rugby League team. They recently did a 5 mile walk to raise money for Freddie's Friends and raised a staggering £1,470 - what a fantastic effort by a fantastic set of kids - the money will be used to help some special children - THANKS TO YOU ALL XXXXXXX
